Honey, Lemon and Thyme Baked Feta
This dish offers a beautifully balanced combination of flavours – from earthy thyme to sweet honey and a fresh hint of lemon, finished with the essential tang of feta.
Served in individual baking dishes, it creates an impressive presentation and is perfect as a starter or a special lunch.

Ingredients
- 200 g YAMAS! Feta
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1-2 tbsp olive oil
- 1-2 tbsp honey
- 2 garlic cloves, sliced
- A few sprigs of thyme, leaves picked
- Toasted flatbreads to serve
Method
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Cut the feta so it fits neatly as one piece in individual ovenproof dishes.
- Add a small drizzle of oil to each dish and place the feta inside.
- Sprinkle over the garlic and thyme leaves, then drizzle with a little extra oil and lemon juice.
- Bake for 15–20 minutes, until the feta softens and turns lightly golden on top.
- Drizzle with honey and return to the oven for a further 5 minutes.
- Serve with toasted flatbreads for dipping. Delicious!
